Introduction
The 2011 TELLS Professional Development Conference will be held from 5 to 7 July at the Sebel & Citigate King George Square Hotel in Brisbane. All TAFE Qld teachers, tutors and professional officers involved in AMEP and LLNP delivery are invited to attend.

Attendance is FREE. The conference is funded by TAFE English Language and Literacy Services (TELLS).

Please note: Institutes will be billed for catering costs of $65 per day for teachers who register but do not attend.

Regional Day
The third day of the conference, 7 July, is especially for Regional Institutes. TELLS will fund travel and accommodation for two teachers (preferably one AMEP and one LLNP, if applicable) from each Regional delivery site for all three days of the conference.

Accommodation, when required, will be in the Sebel & Citigate King George Square Hotel. Teachers must have the approval of institute management before making any bookings for flights or accommodation.

Accommodation

Accommodation, when required, will be in the Sebel & Citigate King George Square Hotel. TELLS will fund accommodation for Regional participants for up to three nights. You need to book your accommodation on the Conference Registration Form. Do not contact the Sebel & Citigate directly. AST Management will issue an invoice for the accommodation. This should be given to your institute's finance officer for immediate payment. Institutes should then invoice TELLS for travel and accommmodation costs before 15 June. Send invoices to the TELLS Contract and Accounts Officer, Emma Liddell.

Please note: You must have the approval of institute management before booking accommodation through this site.
